Hailing from a small town in Utah, Buppy. is a genre-blurring artist who captures the raw, unfiltered emotions of growing up in a world that never slows down. Raised in a turbulent household, music wasn’t just an escape—it was a necessity. As arguments echoed downstairs, he found refuge in melodies pieced together on his laptop, learning early how to turn instability, love, and survival into songs that cut deep with their honesty.

At just 16, Buppy. left his hometown to chase a pipe dream in Los Angeles. While balancing late-night studio sessions with shifts at a restaurant on Fairfax, he poured everything into his craft. In 2021, he broke through with Violence, a genre-blurring single premiered by Wonderland that introduced listeners to his deeply introspective and emotionally charged style.

In 2022, Buppy. cemented himself as an independent artist with his debut EP Cold Nights in Hollywood, which has since surpassed 5 million streams. He followed it in 2023 with names&places, featuring the standout single comfort, texas, which garnered over 3 million streams. The project earned praise from Zane Lowe, who called him “a superstar in the making,” and received recognition from Lyrical Lemonade, Ones To Watch, and Earmilk, alongside editorial support from Apple Music’s New Music Daily, Breaking Pop, and Wildflower, as well as Spotify’s New Music Friday, Tear Drop, Anti Pop, New Pop Picks, and Varsity Bars.

On stage, Buppy. has developed a reputation as a captivating live performer, making his SXSW debut and sharing the stage with artists including Tommy Richman, Healy, Pardyalone, Arden Jones, DWLLRS, Alt Bloom, Louyah, and Sarah and The Sundays. In 2025, he reached new milestones with performances at Treefort Fest and opening a sold-out show for Sarah and The Sundays at The Roxy.
